I can see arguments for & against this, whilst I agree rules are rules this doesn't mean that they cant be challenged, Badger clearly stated his reasons for sale whilst at the same time was asking less than what he could have got from eBay in order to benefit another forum member.
Maybe full disclosure upfront would be fairer such as "I paid X price for these, but now I'm asking for Y price for these as their market value has significantly increased since I bought them"?
What next, "those who no longer own a Zed are restricted to a read only status", not an unreasonable request give that the forum is about a specific model of car, in which case I'm sure there'd be quite a few of us that wouldn't be allowed to participate.
