We have just knocked through from the kitchen to the dining room and want to make a single space, but I can't decide what sort of flooring to put in. We have 2 dogs so need something that is hard wearing and preferably something that could cope with getting wet.
We were originally looking at engineered wood but I have my worries about that in a kitchen environment. Tiles are an option but I guess they are a bit cold unless you go the underfloor heating option (bit expensive).
I have seen some good reviews of the Karndean and Amtico ranges of flooring but have yet to see any up close.
I'm wondering what others with kitchen dining areas have chosen, and how they have held up over time? Any feedback would be appreciated.
