Flat battery - Unable to start car

Hi,
I have recently written a post regarding my parking brake switch light not turning itself off upon locking the car.
Yesterday I came back home after a few days on holiday and I quickly noticed that the bleeping red alarm light was not working (however, the blooming parking brake switch light was still on!).
I could not open the car with the fob but could do so with the key. I then called the RAC and once he arrived, the technician plugged his van's battery to the car.
I could then operate the boot, open and close doors, windows, etc... However, when I inserted the key fob and tried to start the car, it wouldn't let me do anything.
There's a yellow parking brake warning on the dash and a message in the iDrive screen.
I pressed the ignition button and nothing happened...
Inserting the key fob does not seem to release the steering lock either.
After a few tries, the technician tried a spare battery he had but apparently that did not work either (I was in the house by then, as it was bloody windy and cold) so I did not see him trying the spare battery he had in the van.
I think that I should point out that a few days before I went on holiday, I took the car for a spin. I parked it and when I went, I saw a warning message on the dash stating something like "Unexpected Battery Discharge" or something like that. It was not a very long drive, I had not driven the car in about a week and that day I operated the roof a couple of times (if my memory serves me right).
Furthermore, I must admit that in the last month or so I must have driven the car not even once a week. Is this a case of fitting a new battery? Could anything have been damaged?
Please see below a screenshot of all the error codes.
Any advice will be much appreciated...

A fully depleted battery will never ever be able to be used again..it may be so bad that even a jumped battery fails to bring the voltage rails up enough for systems to work..

So brand new battery, fully charged, then attach to the car, clear codes, see what gives …don’t forget to register and if necessary code the battery..

Would be a good idea to see what the root cause of the initial battery drain was once you get things to go..otherwise history will repeat itself,

Thanks for your reply. In the end, I recovered the car to a local BMW specialist. What happened was that water had managed to find its way to the botton of the boot, mostly through the long seal at the top (which I had tried to repair a while ago). The water damaged the EMF control module and that's what was causing all the issues: parking brake switch light being constantly on after locking the car and subsequent battery drain.

They removed the bumper to seal vent. They had to replace the EMF module, replaced the corroded plug and all wire terminals. They also fitted a new rear boot seal and a new battery.

My wallet is still smoking after paying the repair bill.... but at least it's all good now. At long last I can drive it again!

Good to get the write up..so often people raise faults never to be heard from again…bet that was expensive :tumbleweed:
