Flat battery but boot open , so charging from there , once charged is it just a case of start it , or is there some sequence before I start it ?

You should charge using the red, positive point under the bonnet, near the windscreen and connect negative to a good electrical contact on the chassis. The car's electronics are complex and you shouldn't charge the battery directly.

I don’t have stop start or I can’t find it , the one that’s on is a 096n but I think garage put this on just to sell and it’s not agm, do we have regeneration braking is this why we use agm?

Yup you need AGM cause you have braking regeneration ie the alternator is switched off a lot of the time, then when you apply the brakes the alternator tries to dump 210 amps into the battery..takes a special kind of battery to cope with that for over 10 years!

Simples!

Everything else work?

Mirrors…front windows drop on the switch?

If all ok then you need to fully cycle the windows 3-4 times on the switch and hold the switch for 10 secs or so..should reset it

The battery health in these cars is essential. You can monitor it with something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09YTWJ6BL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 £20 from Amazon. You can leave it permanently connected across the battery terminals - it won't drain the battery, and can send you daily health reports by Bluetooth.

On a related issue, a good OBDII code reader is highly recommended. Do NOT get a bluetooth dongle and leave it in place all the time. It will be permanently live and KILL (not drain) the battery in a few weeks - don't ask how I klnow

Update on windows ignition on push both down buttons and keep holding at the bottom for 5secs , then both up and hold 5secs again, windows now the the door open drop 😀 well happy
