First aid box under drivers seat

Is this mod applicable with power seats? I take a look under my seats, and there is barely enough room for a band-aid, let alone a full first aid kit.

Yes - I have them on both sides on powered and ///m sport seats. Designed with room for them

Just ordered a tray for my drivers side.

I bought the kit with a first aid pack in it, and it came fully complete. Ie, box, mouting bracket, screws, and first aid pack.

52109164602 £26.04 + vat

I didn't think it was that bad, since it comes with the bracket which is £4.05 + vat, and then an empty box must cost about £10, so the first aid kit is handy to have renewed (or just use the old ones in your house etc?!)

Cheers

Dave

picked this up today and every thing is there, had a quick glance and it looks a 5 minute job, i'd have fitted it but my tools are else where

I think some of the bandages in mine have passed their expiry date, but I'm not too concerned - I'd rather have an out-of-date bandage than none. I checked mine, and the packs were still in good condition - IMO far more important than just having X quantity of bandages.

What can you put in there not a lot even less room than the glove box as i did think of getting another first aid box for drivers side

My Z came with one under the passenger seat, which is powered. I use it for my butties which are kept nice and cool with the aircon on..! :D

It's a perfect place to slot sunglasses, house keys and a camera. Lined with towel fabric nothing moves. it's secure, out of sigth and so much easier to reach then the centre storage between th eseats or glovebox

I have the bracket but no box under the passenger seats.
Just bought two boxes, one bracket and the screws for 29 quid which I was happy with. Got them from Cotswold BMW

i fitted mine just because it was a simple mod i could do, not sure i want to put anything in it, er i think i'm stupid hehe

I've lined mine with rubberised sheets and then some felt, so now I can just put my sunglasses in there and not worry about them getting scratched etc. I did keep them in the bag in my door pocket but it was a PITA to get them out and I lost the bag out the roof the other week on my way to work too (blown out I guess)

Just handy extra storage. The centre ones between the seats are great for general access/space, but when you are driving they are just useless to get at.

Do not find the centre storage a problem to reach as i keep my sunglasses phone and camera if i have it above the CD stack and if i want something its just a slight turn to the left push the button and bingo trying to get to something stored under my seat would be like trying to find a pound coin i dropped when approaching Dartford toll.

Agree any extra storage in the Z4 cabin is a bonus and being hidden under the seat keeps the nice clean looking interior i like so much

bit of a tight fit for the magnum though and the sawn off has to stay in the boot!

Big enough for one of these though...

Sorry to bump such an old thread but was looking at this and it seems like a very good idea but I have a couple of questions, which are probably stupid!

Firstly, does this affect the movement of the seat at all, being larger than average, I will have the seat right back and right on the floor so wll it still fit?

Also people say its an easy fit but how easy is easy? I am not technical at all and worried about fucking it up. I can build furniture ok but thats about the limit of my diy skills.

If anyone who fitted these could give some more infor that would be much appreciated as I tend to fill my car with all sorts of junk that I never use but its there if I need it!

No and fitting very simple I found it helped to ease the bolts in first just to free up the predrilled holes
