Finally, finally bought another car

That looks very nice.

Where are the wood pictures that everyone is talking about?

I don't think this is really that kind of forum.

It exactly is that type of forum
Those replies both made me nearly spit my G&T out. My drink of choice since this morning :P
The 'wood' pictures were from the original AT advert, which has gone (obviously). I am hesitant to take new ones because of the barrage of abuse I will get........actually I don't care. I will show you my wood tomorrow pvr :D

He won't sleep tonight now for excitement.

Difference between dark and hard? It gets dark every night.

Difference between light and hard? You can get to sleep with a light on.

That looks fantastic.

And it's a much rarer car than an M6 or M3 as well which is an added bonus.

I hope you do add some photos of the wood - firebobby would love that!

All you need to now is enjoy it. :driving:

My 15 year old daughter had a sit in the car this evening and said "it's really posh but a bit old fashioned". I said "well it is 13 years old"; she said "no it's all the wood stuff, looks like an old house, and it has an ashtray in the back". God love her

That made me laugh!

Some years ago my nephew got an E46 325ti Compact SE with beige leather and wood trim. His OH at the time chistened it his "Granddad Car".

And now my daily is an E90 330iSE with beige leather and wood trim - but then I am getting on a bit.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love those turbine wheels. 8) Show us your wood! Do it! Do it! Do it!
I think it probably looks a bit like this, only requires a quick wipe over with Mr Sheen once a week

Don't be silly, it's an Alpina so it's got an oak panelled drawing room in the basement...

...along with the wine cellar, the picnic marquee and the staff accommodation...

This lowers the centre of gravity and improves the handling, on the downside it does make the steering slightly weightier, as [ref]Pondrew[/ref] has discovered

Very nice motor, I do hope it doesn't look like a furniture store on the inside

I've always thought of the Alpina BMWs as the sort of fat, comfortable cousin of M BMWs

A B3 is actually lighter than an equivalent M3. Mine isn't as all the trees add a fair bit. :P
Alpina - 'All the go without the show' or
Alpina - 'The thinking man's M'
:D

Nice wood mate. Total Alpine vibes and would look crap in an M3. Somehow looks right in an Alpina. Maybe IM getting old! :(

I've had to put my sunglasses on after looking at the wood to be fair! :D

I have to say that it does absolutely immaculate inside and out for sure. 8)

Love the 2+2 seating arrangement, very classy, just a pity you can't drive it from those back seats.. :driving:

A lot of car

Look to the south and you will see the glow :poke:
It's not immaculate, but won't take too much to get it back to that. I'm wire-wooling the inside of the exhaust tips ATM to try and get the burnt-on crud out. I'll start cleaning the leather next. :|

Nearly hit something in Halfrauds' car park earlier as I didn't realise it doesn't have front PDC (only rear). :headbang:
