Definitely sand and lacquer for a long term solution - polishing the lens and applying sealant will not last long before it needs re-doing.

Chris

That was my thinking, be annoying as will cost more... but I’m not even going to say what these lights have cost me so far..... so it only makes sense to do the best possible job of them

So far I’ve paid for 2 x sonar lights (purely to use temporarily while I do upgrade) 2 x pre facelift lights, 2 x facelift lights, my original 2 x facelift lights, 2 x HID KIT, 4 x rings, 4 x devils, 2 x controllers, a bunch of upgrades bulbs and now professionally polished and laquered lenses

These best be the best lights in the land by the time they’re finished  (aswell as IamOrions anyway lol)

Spoke to my body shop when collecting the bonnet at the weekend and my mate said he can do the sanding and restoring etc and then properly spray the UV laquer coat etc so they will be as good as factory (if not better) which would be much better than the kit.... depends if he can fit them in in time is all.

If not I will prob go down the same route as you, I’m just conscious about reapplying the UV coat so they don’t haze up any time soon

After polishing i sealed with synthetic car wax, not sure how long it will last but so far 9 months and ok.
