Finally a Z4 Coupe owner!

After what seems like an age, and viewing a mixture of decent and not so decent examples, I have finally found a Z4 Coupe I am happy with. Car bought, I am now a Z4C owner and loving it!

Car is a 56 reg with 49k miles, in Silver Grey with 108s. Car has recently had its Inspection 2, new discs and pads all round, new battery and two new rear springs.

First mod was a ZHP gear knob. The car had a stubby aerial, but I've swapped it back for the original as the stubby offers poor reception. Is that common?

Only 3 pictures for now. An absolute joy to drive! :)

Welcome aboard your Z looks lovely even thou its a coupe :poke: , I personally never had a problem with the stubby only on AM/MW but I never use them anyway.

Hi all. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Certain stations were a bit hit and miss with the stubby, put the old whippy one back on and they came through clear as day. Might just be the quality of that particular stubby? Do most just get them off of eBay?

I am based just outside of Reading, in Berkshire. Love driving this thing - quite the step up from my 3.0l N53 325i M Sport!

First full week of Z4C ownership complete, and loving it! :) Gave her a bit of a clean today, so please see obligatory pictures below. :P Really enjoying driving this car!

Thanks!

Just ordered a tub of Finish Kare FK-1000 carnauba wax and the Gliptone Gentle Cleaner & Conditioner kit. Going to give the seats a good going over and another couple coats of wax

I also still need to order a stubby that works! The one that came with the car is terrible with regards to reception; so I am still rocking the whippy

Put a couple coats of Finish Kare FK-1000 on the car Sunday. Really easy to put on and take off, and the car looked amazing! Just had a bit of rain, and the beading is a sight to behold. Highly recommend this stuff.

Next job is new gear box oil. Went for Redline Synthetic MTL 75w80 GL4. Will see how this affects shifting and report back!

I started another thread as I was getting an odd sound on first cold start of the day, which turned out to be the starter motor. But haven't heard it for a few days now, which is odd as it was consistently the first start of the day. Will see if it reoccurs and get it replaced for the real cold weather sets in.

De-baged the wings! Think it looks much cleaner, emphasising the lines more. Plus it'll be easier to polish and wax! Ha.
