That seems a decent price for a decent kit / i would have thought much more expensive tbh :? , my problem would be the garage roof being forced off once car was hoisted  :P

Its only a 1m lift, so your garage roof would have to be very low for it to be a problem. They also come with a mobility kit so you could drag it out and use it on your drive.

I think you also need an air compressor to release the air safety locks.

I can't tell you how much time I've spent looking at these and planning how it will fit in my garage!!!!!

70,000 miles on a BM 3.0lt is NOTHING, it's barely run in!!
Cars with this engine that have done "high milage" May have issues but generally not engine related.

We had a E46 330ci pool car at work a few year back that we sold on with 254,000miles on the clock and still pulled and didn't smoke or rattle.

My 3.0i is on 91,000 miles and runs lovely.

Only engine related issue I've had was the rocker cover gasket which I changed last weekend. Only took an hour.

I'm just very concerned about having that much weight above my head = irrational I realise but I have visions of the whole thing toppling over. I used to work with somebody who had a pit dug in his garage must be a similar cost and I'm guessing a hole requires no maintenance.
