F1

Love Christian when talking about the last five races when he said the team will just enjoy the time with Seb before he goes to Ferrari but he will tell him " BUGGER'ALL " about next year's engine.

No doubt Rosberg is quick, and did a good job in qualifying. Lewis messed up in practice by crashing at the first corner damaging the front of his car. Did well to get within 2 tenths of pole in the end.

Alonso back to Mclaren if what you read is true.

So here's a viscous roomer, Alonso to Mercedes :)

No chance of that, both Hamilton and Lauda have stated the current driver lineup is the same for next year at least.

Lewis is contracted to Mercedes until the end of 2015, and so is Fernando to Ferrari, contract negotiations between Hamilton and Mercedes were put on hold until the drivers championship is resolved....so

and

Did you see the look on Niki's face when Rosberg got pole, wasn't overjoyed at all

With talk of teams running 3 cars at some stage, maybe Alonso could join Mercedes with Lewis and Nico. Hell that would take some managing!

Ha ha ha. Mercedes wouldn't finish a race and lauda and Wolff would age about 10 years in a season.

Latest rumours put Alonso at Red Bull and Vettel at Ferrari ....... a case of both throwing their dolly out of the pram?

Not for 2015 - no chance - willing to put money on it! :o

Still willing to put money on it?

Red Bull say VET @ Ferrari, Ferrari saying nothing :?

Red Bull announce new line up and it doesn't include ALO

So yes - money still on the table

IMHO ALO to McLaren as per Zed_Steve  - replacing??? :poke:

Lewis again 8)

Bianchi :( not good. Sutil crashed, jcb came out to recover the car and Bianchi went into the truck...

Everything from the race is clearly overshadowed by Jules Bianchi serious crash, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Great drive by Lewis and fully deserved the win.

Let you off this one. But always a risk putting money on anything, no such thing as a dead cert  Though both drivers still will no longer be at their current teams in 2015 :) Vettel was always linked with Ferrari because of the clause in his contract, Alonso even now still unsure of his intentions.

I think Vettel waited 1 year too long to move. Being out driven by Ricciardo this year will have impacted his legacy.

Last season a lot of talk was about Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel being the most naturally quickest drivers, this season Vettel has dropped away from that platform.

After winning his 4th championship last year (with quite easily the quickest car), a brave move could have been a great way to move himself into the realms of truly great drivers. I think after this season it's painfully apparent that he doesn't belong in the upper echelons with the likes of Lauda, Prost, Senna or Schumacher.

Best wishes to Jules, but have to say that the latest news is not good

+1 Of all the places and time to have a run off, tsk, a sad day.

Horrendous crash - hope he makes a full recovery. Doubt any of the drivers are thinking about anything else right now.

Out of surgery and breathing on his own. Good news, although I can't help but feel this is like Michael Schumacher all over again.

Here's the best pic i've seen regarding damage sustained. bianchi still in the car at this point:

Looks horrendous. Was watching the live coverage and the crash went unseen.
