F1

I haven't checked if the video is still up or not, but I swear there was some weird stuff going on with the flags, and that one of the marshals was waving a green before the tractor left the track... Typical though - and especially cynical as Jules will probably remember nothing when he finally awakens.

Just checked - on page 4. The Marshall is waving a green flag... And he keeps waving it AFTER Jules crashes - how can that not be a factor, if Jules was driving to the flags ?

I think the green flag is waving after the incident, the camera angle makes it look dodgy but that's normal practice I believe.

Yeh, I did read an article that had a photo showing just how far away from the incident the green flag was, all camera angle trickier, perception issues.

Me too, Ricciardo is going to be a weapon if you jokers get the car engine sitting in the car right this year :poke: :crazydude:

That department is def looking more positive for next year :)

If Bianchi accident is related to the customisation of the settings in the BBW then it failed to implement the torque override that applying both accel and brake should have initiated. Then surely it's either a failure of the regulations to prevent a potentially fatal accident or a direct result of Marrusia team overriding the integral safety of the BBW system.

Either way he did the expected action and applied both brake and accel to maximise the stopping capability of the system.

Bad news for both the ex-team and the regulatory system.

I reckon it's a Merc walkover again, especially if they've found another 80hp as rumoured.
