F1

few things compare with your first live experience of F1 from years gone by - the sounds were a huge part of the experience - it ranks up there as one of life's firsts

first time i grinned like an idiot for the first practice session

I thought the current cars sounded a bit like the old ducati bikes too

very happy that mercedes are doing well tho

I watched the race , it had lots of passing and dicing about, much better than the last few years.... as for noise, maybe it doesn't sound as amazing but 99.9% of the people are watching it on TV. I can turn up the volume. It definitely sounds muted but maybe some Honda Civic trumpet mufflers can fix that... I"m kidding !
What do you think about decreasing the amount of "remote monitoring" between the pits and the cars. ?? Take it back to a driver actually monitoring "stuff" ......
I did miss the crackle of the exhausts but I like hearing tires squealing.

if you want to experience severe aural pain, go to an NHRA dragstrip without earplugs. the burnt methanol makes it hard to breathe and the pressure wave pushes you into your seats then the sound forces you to sprint to the concessions and pay "anything" for a set of plugs. There is a limit....

Got a chest cold? Just go to an NHRA event. It's a sure bet that a the mucus will make a hasty exit from your lungs from the exhaust pressure wave. NHRA drag races are great events to go to. Every ticket is a pit pass, The races are short but frenetic and have a clear out come. It really is a ton of fun .
