SKY, Robbin bastards.....I currently have sky sports and have been considering getting rid of them and switching the HD back on as its £10 a month cheaper.
I think Mr eccelston had alot to do with who was going to be showing it, coz he obviously needs an extra few million, must have got his daughters last Credit card bill in.
 
Dont have Sky anymore, decided i was'nt going to spend most of my life being bombarded with adverts and skipping through channel after channel of absolute shite and paying had over fist for it, so will watch BBC highlights which i suspect will make good viewing on Sunday evening, most of the boring bits should be edited out.
So i now have a Freesat box, i record anything on commercial channels i want to watch so im able to skip through the adverts and dont have to pay anything to the con-artists they call Sky,,,, Wow i feel so much better. :D

I also replaced Sky with a Freesat Box - a one off payment and 4 free HD channels plus BBC and ITV player as well as all the freeview channels including several extra +1's ( useful innovation ) - better than paying wads of cash to Sky !
 
Just wait until next year, the BBC will hardly show any races live, and in 2014 we'll get nothing without paying for Sky :cry: (IMO)

Is the GP of the America's still going ahead at the moment? Seems like Ecclestone has been playing his usual games and messing with the organisers in Texas.

It is - the BBC broadcast it on BBC HD last season. At least I am sure they did, and I remember it looking great, so the must have done (senior moment there - memory failing, self-doubt set in, however with a decent TV all HD is great. Except for The Biggest Loser USA. That should be broadcast in ULD :P

Agree with much said here, but IMO Sky's football broadcasts are much better than BBC/ITV/CH5 and I expect that camera angles etc will be far better on the new F1HD channel. Just wish Sky was cheaper and not linked to Murdoch.

Can't see the angles being much different as quite a few of the races are filmed by the individual countries involved.

Either way, can't wait for it to start... IF you don't have Sky Sports you do get it with Sky+ HD (the option I have already without Sky Sports).
 
Yeah, I cant wait for it to start either.... but Not on Sky which I dont have and wont be gettting.

As a matter of principal I will now not go to any GPs or buy anything from any of the sponsors... if everyone did the same that would send a big signal that not everyone is happy with the move away from BBC.

Greed... Im sure Bernie is rich enough that he doesnr have to worry about paying for SKY!

as far as i know, yes. i'm still getting updates from the track for advanced tickets. i'm waiting for them to offer up rv parking :roll:
