F-Type Coupe

I honestly prefer the look of the roadster... But i would get a coupe over one just for the increase boot.

Although on paper its much bigger not found a pic of it though! Be wierd if the boot was more verticle then across!

I'd love one. I hope they a) have some semblance of reliability, and b) become a half decent second hand bargain!

Well I get to satisfy my curiosity tomorrow about how good the coupe is in the flesh with a VIP invitation to view and play at the Jaguar factory and with a production line tour thrown in. Should be good fun.

Going to turn up in the Zed, rather than the XF - be rude not to :)

Has everyone seen this:

gorgeous car but just how with all that alu hydroformed loveliness did the managed to me it soooo heavy??? Lets hope they'll make an LM/ RS version minus 250 kg!

Couple of shots for you coupe lovers:

Had a very pleasant morning at the Jaguar factory at a VIP unveil of the coupe and factory tour. still prefer the roadster, but this is one pretty car

It's a LHD V8 that was destined for a China launch show, but Jaguar kept it for their UK factory

Nice! Looking at the boot space I'll have to keep the Evoque as well...!! :P

At least with two British cars, you may have at least one on the road :poke:

Actually I was surprised. To demonstrate, they easily fitted in 2 sets of golf clubs in bags (as per the launch publicity) and had to hand a set of custom luggage that maxed the available space. Way more practical than the roadster in the boot dept. and more than adequate for a long weekend, but no Evoque capacity..

Really did look the business, compact but very very beefy looking, have to say the want meter ticked "yes please" when i saw it in the flesh, gorgeous car!! going to be very popular!! now les see an RS version...!!!

Of course they cannot announce anything publicly, but it was a huge surprise to launch an 'R' on day one, so I expect the RS will be along.
If you want to see the future look at the CX 75 Jaguar project with Williams, which they were keen to discuss yesterday in the same breath as the Coupe. It uses a 1.6 turbo and supercharged engine coupled with ERS to produce 800hp and only 99g co2's. Funny how close that sounds to next years F1.

Edit - Surprised if you saw a coupe in the Bullring as there's a driving embargo until March, outside of factory tests. Was it the roadster?

The CX-75 has been FULLY scrapped. Which is a shame.

As a concept it may well have been, but I can assure you the Jaguar factory is showing their selected invitees film of it directly linked to the F type.
Make of it what you will. DNA line, future power trains, brand building, etc.
