Does anyone know if it is possible to get plain glass heated exterior mirrors ie without the last 30mm at a different angle to see blind spots. If so what the number is?

Out of interest why would you not want the blind spot mirror as its a god send to me with disc probs in my lower and upper back ( the joys of getting old )![]()

They are attached by a sticky pad on to the back plate, and the heating element still works fine. You can probably order them from Halfords, I think they may even be the same size as the 1 series of that era.

It slots in absolutely perfectly and is incredibly easy to fit. I just cleaned up the back plate to remove all the dust. The original mirrors are attached with just a small glob of glue which is why they probably fell out.Magicarcher said:Zeld4 said:I replaced both mirror glass a few years ago as they fell out. I will definitely look into your suggestion, I would have expected the Heating element not to work too good, but if you are saying it is ok it is worth a try. Can you remember how well the shape matches the mirror frame?
