Thanks for the info bud, I've had a go at removing one of them before but it's tight. I recon I'll wd40 them when the cars not in use and try again. Regards

I used a rubber mallet and trying to be careful got them off in the end.
At some point I want to get them plated as the original finish is pretty poor.

I think the originals are alloy...I've got a polishing kit that I use for the bike, a mirror finish on alloy is no problem (as long as you can get the feckin things off) Lol

Im not so sure they are alloy. They are held on with spring clips that are welded on and these rust onto the exhaust. That's what makes them so difficult to come off the first time.
