I received my pedals and am looking forward to Installing them. Funny thing is that when I placed then over the car pedals, the holes in the covers don't all fall within the pedal. It's like they are too large for the car pedals. Are yours the same John?

Thanks

Kerstien

Exactly the same. What you need to do with the clutch and brake pedals is: remove the OEM rubber covers. Then for each ACS cover, insert a couple of the screws through the top 2 holes and just fasten the nuts on to them very loosely then place the cover onto the appropriate pedal so that the nuts lie on the underside of the pedal. When the cover is in place, put the other two screws through the holes in the cover, and fasten the nuts to them and then tighten them all up. No need to drill any holes. Job done.

For the accelerator pedal. I suggest that you place the cover onto the OEM pedal and position the cover so that the top holes are as high on the OEM pedal as possible but still able to drill a hole in the OEM pedal. Drill one hole at the top and then insert a screw and fasten the cover in place. Wrap some tape around the cover and pedal so that the cover is firmly in place, then use a Dremmel (or similar) to drill holes in the pedal for the other 3 screws, using the cover as the template guide whilst drilling. Putting the nuts onto the screws for the accelerator is very tricky, but I found that sticking a nut onto the end of my index finger with contact adhesive allowed me to feel for the end of the screw via the nut stuck on my finger.

Hope this helps.

Phew I thought I had a problem with mine. Ill try doing it tomorrow but your explanation is very clear so I should manage. Thanks as usual for the solid help.

My pedals have also arrived. They look really good :) Hopefully get them fitted this coming weekend with John's tips above.

Hopefully that and the clutch stop should make a big difference from the drivers seat.

Got mine fitted :D thanks John for the tips...made all the difference. I couldn't fit the accelerator pedal as high as I wanted to. Some of the pedal beneath still shows up. I was worried to go any higher since the hole is so close to the edge.

The added height in accelerator pedal does help a great deal. Thanks for the advice John

Excellent, that's positive feedback Kerstien!

I'm fitting mine tomorrow night. What drill size did you use?

Ok... couldn't resist, popped out to the garage for a trial fit :)

I don't suppose you guys got 13 bolts delivered, I only got 11 :( :(

Couple of observations on my trial fit:

-Despite removing the rubber on the clutch and brake pedal, I'd estimate there is still 1" of a difference in height. I'll measure tomorrow once fitted. Hopefully it feels a different at least. I don't have a rubber cover on my throttle cable, just a thin plastic pedal I guess.

-Also, my throttle pedal seems to slant to the right, I can pull the pedal and the plastic behind it over the left by a cm or so. I'm thinking of wedging something between the black plastic casing at the back and the carpet. Do you guys notice this.

I reckon if I can pull it over, combined with the slightly raised height it might be much better.

I actually think I did get an extra 1or2 bolts :?
I too only have a thin plastic gas pedal. I have alot of play in mine... I can move it e and right very easily. However I think mine needs tightening. I'll try that over the weekend. Yes you're correct there is still a difference in height. It just makes the difference less and makes the pedals look nicer. I might shorten the screws since the clutch and brake ones stick out alot.

Not sure what bit I used...went to the ironmongery and bought the right bit
