You've either been flogging the wick out of it or doing a lot of cold start / short journeys :D
Whichever, keep it up and burn that hole in the ozone layer for us no roofers !
 
daily car, no issues (why buy an car for other people?)
wife has an 1 series for practical or free riders (passengers)

Exactly this for me, three or four days a week when not working from home :thumbsup:

The mornings aren't so great anymore as they're dark and getting colder... but dark or not, I love knowing that even if I have the shittiest day ever recorded in the big book of massively bollocks weeks, I have a great drive home waiting for me once it's done.

Couldn't care less that it's London roads and dual carriageway/motorway most of the time as I love the car at any speed. It sounds ace just getting to 30/40, but I also enjoy the fact it has so much torque that I can stick it in 6th on the motorway and not have to change gears as long as my speed stays above about 50/55.
 
Weekend car for me, a lot of miles in the company car during the week. But time to enjoy myself at the weekends :driving:
 
I used mine regularly for commuting no probs wet or dry, however got caught in snow a while ago and it was a nightmare, worst experience of my driving life, but rear drive auto wot do you expect. 95% of time if you can put up with limited space go for it, but i know i'll get crucified on this forum but one of the best cars I've owned was an Audi TT quattro 225 MK1, the new one is the dogs apparently................. :evil:
 
Cheers for the replies guys...I've decided to throw caution to the wind and just say *cuk it, you only live once. i'll be ordering for March delivery.

To keep it in budget: 20i M-Sport manual transmission with comfort pack.

I was going to add auto and a few other bits and bobs, but then the price is creeping towards a used boxster!!!...So where would it stop lol. USED BOXSTER
 
Mine has done 3k miles in 2 years nearly so it's a weekend thrasher. But I would have used it more but I spends a lot of its time being striped down upgraded and cleaned and painted. It has done a few weekends away 1 track day and a few trips to the builders yard :thumbsup:
 
Weekend and holidays for us as have company hack for shopping and weekdays.but would be more than happy if it was our only car :driving:

Just what we have bought and it is fab :D You will love it.
 
ive done 5k since march in my roadster & even got some tall plants home from the garden centre with the roof down!
Everything is relative and after my lotus elise the zed is like a limosine.
To keep the miles down a little i also use my old nissan micra & bmw r1200gs/triumph speedtriple.
If im feeling cheeky il even pinch mrs smartbears z3 :driving:

Love it, probably shouldn't but I figure there's no point buying it to look at it. A painting wouldn't of been as sexy but it would of done a similar job!

Done 5k since end of July. So I could be too new to this to have a proper say!
 
Daily driver for me. Now that my commute has gone from 50 miles to 5 miles the fuel consumption is not really an issue. I am loving it so far but with winter approaching that may change :)

Nah, IMHO winter tyres are not needed, just a lighter right foot :driving: - see my previous post re E30 M3 :o

I guess so and in part it is because its not good in those conditions but mainly its because im more worried about someone sliding in to me , which did happen many years ago when I had an XR3i
