Eventuri Carbon Intake Kit

Imran here posting under Eventuri username. I would like to know who this owner is as I have not had any contact with a customer regarding a rattling Evolve CSL air box. If you look online there is not one negative review about the quality of the Evolve CSL Airbox.

Assuming something is wrong with the Eventuri just because she hasn't posted on this forum is not a fair comment to make at all. Here is her post from Instagram 6 weeks ago. Maybe she is too busy to post up her review on the forum?

I have a kit here that we used for the photographs - anyone on the forum is more than welcome to come and take a look at it in person, have it fitted to their car, have a test drive around our area and have it dyno'd. If they like it they can buy it for the pre order price - if not then we can take it off and not charge anything.

As for the poor mans Gruppe M comment. Our carbon is second to none. The rest of the kit is ultra high quality - machined MAF housing and neoprene lined heat shield.

Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm a new member so unfamiliar with any previous goings on and I'm not really one for he said she said, so let's cut to the chase.

As commented earlier in the thread, I have just spent £650 on a Gruppe M. I think it sounds superb and it has a brilliant following from ///M owners.

So my question is; what should make me move from the Gruppe M to the Eventuri?

Right honestly I had no idea this chat was going on here.

With regards to my absence on the forum I have embarked on a new career and I spend all my week days away In Norfolk and due to this I spend all my weekends trying to catch up on living a bit.

The delay has been a mix of that, holiday, christmas etc. and me wanting to take quality photos of it.

I am over the moon with the eventuri kit it really is an awesome piece of kit, the guys worked so hard on my car to make sure, fit, performance etc was correct which naturally also put a slight delay on things.

As Paul says my full write up including photos, videos and my overview on it will be done this weekend.

If I knew this kind of chat was going on I would have responded sooner

You come in and post some tantalising teasers of a new development for a car that doesn't receive a huge amount of bespoke kit and your surpirsed that people aren't disappointed now to get the follow up review within 3 months....not sure I believe you :wink:

Just read Paul's review, seems to be a serious bit of kit. I was only jesting you (hence the winky face), us Z4MC owners need to stick together will look forward to hearing your thoughts on it too.

Performance



We have measured between 10-15hp on the Z4M under controlled tests, ensuring consistently controlled temperatures. Although this in itself is a healthy gain, we would like to stress that dyno numbers alone cannot show you the improvement this kit makes in throttle response, which is significant and the improvement in driveability including low-mid range torque response. Oh - not to mention the sound!

IAT testing stock air box vs Eventuri Intake



These test were carried out back to back on the dyno. As you can see the Eventuri provided lower IAT's (Inlet Air Temperatures) than the stock air box throughout the dyno run.

So does the chart include the remap that was done prior to the intake install?

I spoke to a car tuner who said he could get 15 BHP on an M3 and improve torque just with a remap. Same price as a induction kit posted above.

As the design is pretty much identical to the Gruppe M if the claimed BHP increase is correct then expect the same on the Gruppe.

In fact the Eventuri intake is completely different to the Gruppe M. Bilal - our design engineer will be on to post how and why this intake works and what sets it apart from others.

No the development has been done on the standard map. This part is designed to work as a bolt on part so all testing has been done on the standard map. I will speak with the guys about doing some runs with the map installed
