Well it definitely looks like I was talking bollox at the moment as Spain may be winning but the Czechs are losing to Turkey :o

So that's a cock up as Spain have lost. Great game in prospect now on Monday Spain v Italy.
 
TBF It's a great chance for Wales to get to the Qtr / semi / final - Glad I got them in the company sweep :thumbsup:

Albania are on 3pts but have a GD of -2 so, IMO, are unlikely to progress

Given the matches left it looks like the four 3rd place teams that will progress will be from groups BCDF which means that Wales will play the 3rd place team in Group D. Assuming that Spain don't rest everyone, they are likely to beat Croatia and I think that the Czechs will beat Turkey by more than 1 goal - So Wales v Croatia in the next round

ps a better bet bet might be Wales getting whitewashed by New Zealand and England whitewashing Australia :thumbsup:

only problem with that of course is the shite teams who have already been gubbed tend to not like getting really gubbed and the victors of the the previous 2 tests don't really have to try too hard.

Of course that means Wales will still get beat but England will probably lose to the Aussies :rofl:

If they both go out, Perry and I will cough up. However, if either team progress, your obviously willing to drop another £20 in the pot then ?

Yeah - that's why I've never been one to gamble on the horses either... if I decided a horse was worth putting money on it'd lose a leg or start running backwards....

I don't bet on sporting events except horse racing when I'm at the races - and that's only because there's nothing else to do :).

England will lose there next match not matter who they play

I think the nets in Europe must be metric and therefor much smaller, England just don't seem to be able to locate them
