Cracking game last night from the Welsh.
Apparently England are superb... But just can't "unlock the door" according to Woy and Cahill !
They managed to score 3 times in 4.5 hours. - I could manage that in a nightclub !
Meanwhile, Wales topped the group with a bunch of Championship players, plus Bale and Ramsey. What does that say ?

Heh, I know what you're saying about England - definitely home by Tuesday - but I reckon Wales will be in the quarters. Current standings suggest they'll face either Albania, N Ireland or Czech. None of those would worry Bales, err I mean Wales

Given the matches left it looks like the four 3rd place teams that will progress will be from groups BCDF which means that Wales will play the 3rd place team in Group D. Assuming that Spain don't rest everyone, they are likely to beat Croatia and I think that the Czechs will beat Turkey by more than 1 goal - So Wales v Croatia in the next round
All just IMO, of course.... and I could be making it all up and talking complete bollox... not for the first time either....

I wasnt saying how good Wales are, I was pointing out how bad England are, given their overpaid and over inflated egos. I am English born but am just constantly dissapointed at Englands performances in tournaments and their "Just do the minimum" attitude. Rio "Fish-Face" Ferdinand admitted the other night on TV that England always looked for a draw in their opening game !! Ive got to the point where I support England for the first hour or so, then out of frustration just find myself willing the opposition to score and teach them a lesson.
If England can throw the kitchen sink at Wales for 45 minutes and at 90mph, why cant they do it to other teams ? I suggest it was because they cared about losing to Wales, but dont really give a monkeys about not beating other countries, due to a severe lack of pride? . Didnt "Our Wayne" come back from 2 World cups and publically apologise for the teams poor performance ? ...And then we make him Captain !
I had a Welsh Grandfather, a surname of Jones and have property in Wales, so I just cant help admiring the Welsh passion and pride for their country and wanting them to do well.
However, for Lauren I'll take your bet that Wales will progress to a further round than England, (not just outlast them as they may play the fixture later !). :evil:
