this is a very special car and unique imo, the engine detail is incredible, don't scrimp on the overall external finish and choose something nice to set it all off and showcase your hardwork. When are you hoping for your first drive??

Thanks, I wasn't going to bother degingering as I don't really think it would add any worthwhile image to the car, but that's just my opinion. I do think it would look better but not that much better worth spending loads of money on. I'm happy with the looks of the car now after its transformation, the only other worthwhile mod externally now would be the Z4m bonnet but can't justify the price.

So they are made up of extremely hard (mostly +60HRC) materials.
Do you still have a pic of your old big end piston rod bearings. I'd like to see how they held up to the power of the ts2 spec.
This is an interesting project.
Did the colder sparkplugs resolve the pulsating igition timing issues at 5-6k rpm on the ts2/ts2+ setup?

With regards to the timing issue, have you had the codes read?
Camshaft sensor and/or TPS could have similar symptoms but the codes should be coincidental. It could possibly be the throttle actuator as well.
