50 Zs this is going to be a good day! If I can help with anything Alan let me know.

Thanks Chaps,
I may need a few 'group leaders' so I'll call on you prior to the meet if possible to familiarise yourself with the route

Q. Would People prefer the groups to be completely random mixes on the road or in "OCD" Car type order ?? (i.e.//M's, Roadsters, Coupe's, E89's etc)?

I think a mix of cars would be good personally.

Is PVR not coming on this run, can't see his name down?

It think it would be fun to be in a group of ///MR's, if there are enough. Never had enough in one place to experience that particular pleasure before, I just think it would be very cool & fun & make the day even more special. 8).

What's the plan for the South East contingent heading up?

Think I will have to have a early morning start, but as it's not till 10 shouldn't be an issue. Leave at 5, there by 8ish in time for breakfast.

I think a lot of us were thinking of going the day before, stay in a Premier Inn or something similar(5 Star Hotel for Perry and Cindy) have a nice breakfast ready for the meeting point.

Have the South East contingent started booking hotels? If so where are most staying?

I haven't personally Ruby but will do soon.A list of possibilities have been posted. Will probably sort something out soon.Be good if we all stayed in the same one and had a nice evening meal together and then breakfast the following morning.

Perry and I have been chatting about this. We'll be going over on Saturday, setting off in the morning, could stop at Clackett Lane to collect a few cars, then hopefully picking Perry and a bunch up at Cobham services, then possibly the Essex / West London bunch at Reading services if we can get the timings right... With a mini hoon through the Cotswalds if we can manage it. Should be quite a convoy once we're done 8)

I actually just made all that up, but a plan is on my list to do, and I will start a separate thread for it - but it will be the weekend at the earliest, probably later before I can get round to starting.

Like the idea of a group of MRs, though I fear that's a bit elitist and may be frowned upon

It can't be elitest... our group of Alpinas will have that epithet taken, dear boy... toodle pip....

MrsG and I are booked into the Avon Gorge Hotel, for Sat & Sun nights. Always fancied staying there. We're planing to see the SS Great Britain too. Plus our route to the Z4 rendezvous Sunday morning, will be via the monthly PH meet, at Queens Square. Never done that one before either. So it should be a fun packed weekend for the G's. Bring on the Sun shine. :D

I don't think there is anything elitist about the Z4, in any guise, Bing. It would just look Cool and I suspect feel cool, in convoy. Same as we sometimes use Coupes, as book ends in Photo's, just because it looks great. Just my thoughts. :)

(Did I say that bit about Coupes, I'm slipping)
