Blimey this is turning into quite an event. Be sure I'll be there too.

The route was great last year, in fact MrsG & I, took that route back from the Cotswolds, a few weeks back and stopped off at Tintern Abbey. (rip off btw). A different route would be great, may be a little longer, but that was/is a good one for sure.

Tonbridge Mafia are coming 3 z's. May I suggest all guys from the Kentish area meet at junction 8 of m25 for a bacon sandwich before heading towards Bristol. There is a cafe at the top of Reigate hill.
