End of my era with a Z4

Cars may come and go as situations dictate, but friends remain no matter what! Can't wait to see your new ride.

Me too...

btw, I'm waiting to see if the STB will fit the new (used) ride.

Awww love, sorry to see you relinquish control of your mistress. Sounds like you're doing what you need to do. You'd better not leave here, you know you're loved. Looking forward to your next page.

XO...fni

Sucks to see another long time Z4 owner sell his Z4, especially one who was here from the very beginning of the E85 and who has contributed to the Z4um (RIP) & z4-forum as much as you have. Good luck with you and hopefully you'll enjoy your next ride as much as the Z4.

WOW..... just picking up on this now.
Greg, like the others I'm very surprised at this news.
I understand, but find it difficult to believe :o

While my reasons for selling were completely different, I understand how difficult it is/will be saying good bye to such a great car.
One of the reasons I don't frequent the site as much anymore,
is that it's difficult for me thinking about the best car I have ever had.
& I know that spring in particular is going to be hell.

Your comments on the gang here are bang on...
Flat out the best group of car nuts that I've ever been associated with.
Homecoming '08 is something I'll always cherish & be thankful for.
If not for Caddy... & his generous offer, I wouldn't have been able to make it.

Cheers everyone & take care Greg.

inTgr8r, Homecoming 2008 was a culmination of many elements coalescing at the right time, right place and right people. We transcended many wide and varied challenges to gather, laugh and share our common passion: the BMW Z.

In short, all of us became The Zed Borg.

Thank you all!

Greg

Well as usual, I'm behind the information curve, I just ran across this thread. Sorry to hear that circumstances are forcing you to relinquish your toy, but the health and well being of you and yours is first priority.

However, you will be held accountable to the forum, you will participate, you can not hide! There are those who will track you down and threaten you unmercifully with images of Roundels, rides in their Z4's, even technical questions. You are ours forever! :D :D

Actually the worst thing I think we could do to him if he hides would be to send pictures of dirty cars with horrible shine jobs :D
