End of my era with a Z4

Wow Greg...I was not expecting to hear that, but I can understand the move. :(

Sure happy to hear you'll be sticking around here, as we would definitely miss your presence! You've been an inspiration to us here, and of course, at "that other board", and not just because of the modest list of mods and the few minor tidbits of Zed-related information and advice you've dribbled out to us over the years. :P

It's sad to think of your Zed-less-ness, but thanks for all the great stuff you've shared with us throughout your Zed-ful-ness! :D

All the best to you and the family for full recovery and long years of joyful motoring, in whatever you decide to use as the next "20Ducks Modification Platform".
Looking forward to hearing about all the continuing adventures! :D

Sorry to hear this. If I have learned nothing else from you, I have learned that you do what you must for the better good of everyone around you. Please don't leave us alone with Phil and scuba. Scuba might start making sense.

Neighbor finally caught on huh. :poke:

20ducks, you should have stayed in the UK. Coronation Street and the NHS

Coronation Street is brill.

NHS...hmmmm, I'd still be waiting on the list (unless I went private) to go under the knife. Besides that I hear that one must bring their own leeches for recovery....hehe.

Indeed - all our leeches are in government :(

I started out through Roadfly then Z4um and made a home here from day one. I love this forum. More importantly, I love the people (especially all those that I have personally met over the years). Through this medium I made decision early on to meet with many of you at my first Homecoming in 2005 and then 2006, 2007 and the final one, Homecoming 2008. The last HC was more than special. I can't express the words to describe those few days we all got together from not just the corners of North America but internationally (thanks, Terry) as well. We were a group that IMHO surpassed many of the other well-established Z4 car clubs with our energy, camaraderie and enthusiasm.

I won't be leaving this forum as I cherish my friendship with many of you and hopefully many others that will join in here and perhaps meet in the future.
Cheers,
Greg

Well put Gregg, this year Homecoming was PRICELESS. Good Luck!! :driving:

A man keeping with his priorities. I sure wish your Z will transfer into the hands of someone who will truly appreciate the care you've always given it. From one detailing nut to another, all the best. Still hope to read your comments in our detailing-bodywork section!

Man, what a rogue's gallery.

pmeloche has a point-as soon as we got home, hubby bought an X5! :D
Sweet ride, easy to get in and out of. (of course, those 335s and 535s at HC were fun too!-let's face it, if it has a roundel on it, you can have a blast!)

Hi Greg!

Sorry to hear that this change is necessary.

You have Heart and Passion and have been a special friend to all of us!

You will always be welcome here and on the road with us all! :driving: :driving:
We will stay in touch!

BEST!

Look after yourself and the wife Greg . What ever car you get make sure it is shiney

First priority was to get the wifey to approve on ingress and egress on a car I test drove yesterday. She found it easy, roomy, seat bolsters hold her in just right. She approved!
Second...she told me not to get one without a removable top because she doesn't want to hear my bitchin' about it. Check.
I decided that I don't want a dark color car anymore. Check.
The car has to have leather seats so I can slather Zaino Z10 all over it and myself when conditioning. Check. (Gawd, I love that stuff.)
6 speed, check.
Under 45k miles, check.

I just put a deposit down on a beast of a car. It is a 2001...... nah, I'll wait to tell ya'll until I take ownership late next week. Pics will follow.

btw, demodding process is in-process. I will be updating the list and posting prices soon.

e46 M3 Cab?

I still say the E46 is the nicest 3 series. That's what my 325 was and it was just a very nice looking car. The M3s built on those are nice as well. Maybe I'll end up with one when I grow up.

I think so....not as unique as the Z4 by any stretch of the imagination, plus, I don't have the title in my hand yet...I'm going through the long "were are my funds" waiting period from the bank.

maybe a nice X5 would solve the problem, I had one as a loaner and I must say PRETTY SWEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear it Greg, you have helped me through a couple tough situations. I wish there was some thing I could do for you on this
