Emblem/roundels all round

My car came with black emblems and while I like them, they're clearly cheap as they've started to fade and yellow so now I'm looking for OEM badges to replace all the black ones. Looking for boot, bonnet and indicator ones.

Thanks all!

Most difficult one to find is the bonnet badge- I’ve tried everywhere and end up buying direct from dealers at about 35 quid

Get on E bay just purchased wing roundels oem from Portugal at a good price .

I'd like a link too please. Can't find any on ebay. They're all cheap Chinese ones, or they're the wheel cap ones.

Yeah I've noticed. I'd love to get the oem black ones but I know how rare they are for the e85. The bonnet badge on my car currently is definitely not the standard 38 mm (or whatever it's meant to be)

Hi
The seller on e bay is joelcarvalhosa(379) based in Portugal price at 16.49 dollars plus 3.00 postage.

Looking at the add appear to be genuine items with the adheasive band to the perimeter of the roundel

Mine delivered yesterday not seen yet as away at the moment

Good look

Found this one

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324871248707?hash=item4ba3d5db43:g:EfoAAOSw05BgeB8j

which I think is for the side indicators

Seller also has these but it doesn't list the e85 Z4

Just buy the genuine items, I've had BMW's for 30 years and never, ever found an aftermarket roundel that was anywhere near as well-made as the original BMW items. Indeed, I had a 35 year-old E30 with original badges still in perfect condition.

Yep, you're going to suffer some minor wallet-muggery, but as they say, "Do it right, do it once". :D

This is the seller that Allen mentioned. They do indeed seem genuine. But alas no 70mm bonnet one :/

If they were 15 or 20 a piece I'd consider it but at 50 to 70 a piece I find that absolutely ridiculous. I know there's brand tax but it seems bmw went a bit mad with that concept when you're speaking about the purest form of brand tax - the actual logos :P. I'd be more than 200 quid down getting all 4 replaced :o

To Dr Zed

The first one you listed above is the side emblem the two pins one the rear engage into the indicator housing.

The others you listed are the wrong size should be 82 mm if I remember correctly and have two pins on the rear oriented vertically to one another to locate on boot and bonnet metal work.

Good luck on finding same.

My issue is finding the correct size for the bonnet. As far as I'm aware the side indicators and boot all use the same 82 mm badge but the bonnet is smaller and is unique to the E85 so much harder to find.

Hi
Not shure on that one I thought all the same size front and back ?

Not my earlier comments regarding backing pins .

Unfortunately not. The front bonnet badge is smaller than the boot one (and smaller than any other badge bmw has done since I believe so). It's a right pain to find. The oem ones were in the glove box when I bought it but most were badly damaged and typically the bonnet one was missing.

Available at all good BMW dealers; you're not just paying for quality, you're paying to have the right item whenever you need it.

People pay £1500 for an Apple iPhone that's made in China at a cost of around £80; it doesn't seem to stop them buying them in their millions.

So because people are willing to pay silly prices for a smartphone means that its perfectly fine to snipe users for not wanting to spend £35 on a 3p sticker or 6p bit of plastic?

In terms of quality, if they were quality we wouldn't all need to replace them so readily

Or alternatively, provide a solution to a part he clearly can't find in the right spec, with availability?

If it's quality you want, don't buy Z4's with their well-known steering issues, VANOS, DISA, manifold leaks, cam-chain slip, horrendous RFT tram-lining etc., etc.
