Close, but not touching (reversing camera and auto drop wing mirrors help), the Pirelli’s have reasonable rim protection and so the alloys have very little kerb rash, they are going to be refurbished because there is corrosion under the lacquer at the spigot. The new Continental’s offer little rim protection so yes I will need to be more vigilant than previous

Well SARS, I was 100% committed to purchasing another set of 17” winter boots for the daily’s winter alloys.

Been mulling it over since your post... then bit the bullett

... arguably your arguments very sound about our weather & have to truly say that after a few days of using the new CrossClimate+’s, been the best decision ever, even if I’ll always use winters on the wife’s XC60 the 15% off deal I found also helped

The cross climates are a good choice and with 15% off that’s a decent purchase. Have to say that I’ve had mine on for over a month now and I’m really happy with them. I have so much more confidence in cold and damp or wet conditions than my old PZero’s, I’ve even had it in sport a few times and not a twitch felt.
