eBay Dealer

I wonder if it's Number5?

Not mine Mr Tidy. I only have a 3.0 Si Coupe but I have come to know the seller and there’s nothing dodgy with him or the cars.

The silver low mileage car was actually an ex forum car, he bought off a local member for a price they were both happy with.

He buys well offering the seller an easy sale for a no hassle transaction. He then simply does what’s needed to the cars, preps them and advertises them well but rarely sells on the forum as he knows we don’t favour traders

I know him because he frequently asks me to relocate the roof motors, not because it’s broken or necessary but because it’s desirable for buyers and reduces the chances of failure for the new owner and subsequent come back for him.

All fully insured, declared and legitimate.

I’ve noticed there are three or four regular Z4 traders on EBay Theres a guy who’s cars are always photographed against a low green hedge on his long driveway (poss Notts area) and another one who always has a detached wooden car port in the background. (Ipswich area)

I guess they stick to cars and markets they know best

That makes sense, as does getting the roof motor moved!

I hope I didn't cause any offence with what I said. It was a tongue in cheek comment, which is why I put a smiley at the end.

Here's hoping for another AV8 meet later this year - it's a great drive, once I get off the M4.

Cheers, Iain.

Not at all Mr Tidy.

I just thought the ‘ebay dealer’ was about to get a slating when he’s just trying to make a living and being fair with it. (I didn’t realise True-blue had already declared it was his former car )

I actually know he sold one car and the buyer was fussy, complained a week later, so he took the car back and refunded his money, no questions asked.

Fair enough.

One question though.... Does he look like Arthur Daley or Swiss Toni?

Hahaha, no, not at all... I don’t know what he’s like when selling, but he was an absolute gent when buying.
