East Anglian Zeds - Ready for a meet up?

So sounds like locations starting to settle, any other suggestions before it's perhaps locked in?

Once locations sorted then we move on to dates I guess

Yep - nothing back from Norwich Zeds so I'm wondering about two meets - a breakfast in Downham Market I assume this would have to be a weekend (not for me I've given up working but some of you may not have yet!) and an evening after work meet on the North Norfolk coast - I think we did a Thursday or Friday last time. I guess by now were looking at the first week in June. I'm not going to try the bank holiday weekend!

Thoughts?

I'd be up for the Arbuckles one, well anything, but it depends on dates because I'm off the road at the moment. :(

Oops messed that up.

I am in Peterborough, would consider a trip down to Arbuckles for a breakfast. I am only available alternate weekends, but if it falls on a free weekend count me in.

You boys have almost got your own meet in Peterborough

A drive across Fenland? hmm....
A very valid point. That's the problem with round here, the roads and scenery are not exactly breath-taking (unless watching potatoes grow is your thing)

I'm up for anywhere in Norfolk to meet some locals. Done my first Z4 Meet in Devon on Saturday and then a mini pre Z4 Cheddar Gorge meet on the Sunday on the way home.
7.5hrs to get there, just to meet some Zeds. Was well worth it, even got sun burnt. :D :D

Food wise any is good with me. Although Arbuckles ribs are a favourite of mine.

Hi all, late to the party. Been strolling around the Cornish coast path for a week.

[ref]Stevewi[/ref], 7.5 hours! I did Perranporth to Attleborough in 6:15 on Sunday, going M5, M42, M6, A14, with two stops for the dog.
Guess you must have hit a bit of traffic?

Anyhooo, think I'm a bit booked up for a few weekends so may not be joining in just yet.

Only thing I would say about Arbuckles is that it tends to be heaving and parking there isn't the best: unless they've added more? Been a while since my last visit.

For another, future suggestion, again a bit Easterly for most though..................
Old Buckenham Country Park: only started up a couple of years back, so a work in progress, but they do themed food nights with pizza vans, hog roasts etc pitching up, they have a bar on site and plenty of room to pitch tents. Maybe something to consider for a slightly longer, possibly less sober meet?

And on a happy note.........[ref]jock156[/ref], so good to see you're back and well enough to join in.

Any fellow Zeds in the West Norfolk/Peterbrough/South Lincs area fancy meeting up on Sunday Morning for the Cars and Coffee meet at the Anglian Hotel near Holbeach. Organised by the Old Skool Cruizers.

I would have been there but I'm going to the Rutland Classic show. Need to be there by 10am so I'm back home by 1pm for a family do.

Wow, what a disaster. Easy run to Oakham but sat in the queue for 35 mins to go half a mile, checked sat nav and it was another half mile to go. Long queues both ways to join next roundabout, had to be home for 1pm, so turned round and came home, via McDonald's šŸ™‚. Nice ride out though, but should have gone to Holbeach as it turns out.

Only had my Z for a couple months and live in Norfolk! If this is still happening I’d love to come along if not too late šŸ‘€

Keep watching out. I think there'll be more. Maybe short notice.
EG. I sometimes wake up early on a Sunday morning and decide to go to Southwold for breakfast. Bit late to tell anyone else though...........
