East Anglian Zeds - Ready for a meet up?

Hi all, as title - are you ready to meet up?

I'm reluctant to dive into meeting inside and hugging any Zed-er that I meet but it might be OK now to get out and meet; just to stand and chat and catch up.

The cheeky weekday evening meet at Cromer after work seemed to go down alright last year. Same again; head south and meet Landguard Fort (more accessible than a lot of places only a couple of minutes of the end of the A12; or West towards the fens if I can think of a good meeting spot (cafe, toilets and parking - with view if possible).

The evenings are drawing out now although the forecast for the next few weeks is pants. Weekends are going to be full of 'staycationers' soon although I do facny a Norfolk coast to coast (west to east) run early one Saturday or Sunday in mid summer!

What you think?

Yes, I'm up for it. Would be nice to meet up somewhere more local.
Off to Exeter on Friday to meet up with the South West guys.

 We'll wait for a few more names and then look for dates and venues - always nice to meet new Zed owners

Any chance you can come a bit closer to Peterborough?

Cromer is a real trek from the West of the region.

Come on then help me out - its not that we don't want to its just that we started as a group in mid Norfolk / Norwich. Recommend some locations for a meet Wisbech / Ely way or close to the A11/A14 or A47/A17 Nice area to park; cafe or chippy (that's worth a visit!) and if possible a view

In my defence I only moved to Peterborough 5 years ago and rarely venture out (apart from Stamford). I have heard of Wisbech and Ely :D

I'll do some Googling tonight.

If you can get closer to South Somerset I’d come along as well :P

The Moorings at Fosdyke Bridge always did a good breakfast - with eat in or out space. Bit of a run for the Norwich Zeds though!

I assume its still open?

Definitely in, Arbuckles at Downham is a good breakfast/Hunstanton or wherever really. Would just be good to see some cars.

Didn't know they did breakfasts - my boys have been for steaks in the evenings. Is that too far from the Peterborough area? ~ it does feel about equal distance from Norwich for the Norfolk Zed owners who live out that way.

If we planned it - it might be nice to drive to the meet together too if there are a few cars from Peterborough heading that way
