E89 Z4 3.0i sdrive how many were made ?

Hi great thanks it is an 09 with 42k , full BMW history , 4 previous owners , came with Main dealer service , 12 months warranty , 12 months mot , new pads allround and 2 new rear tyres . Sounds amazing , goes like stink !
The car has , upgraded speakers , sports heated leather , folding mirrors , 18" style 294 , Bluetooth, cruise , front and rear parking sensors , auto lights Zenons , just short of satnav although most think it wasn't any good , plus it is a manual .
I have had BMW s for the last 30 years , still have another 2 in the family E53 X5 and 220d xdrive gran tourer it is like having their love child on the front , just one thing I am unsure on and that is a bit of wine I think from the diff when car is not pulling is it normal as I know you are sitting over the rear wheels more or less ?
Does any one know how many of the 2.3 and 35 were made to give me a comparison?

I have a 2010 30i MSport 6 spd manual in Melbourne Red, which has the upgraded audio, Nav, cruise control, ski hatch between the Sports heated seats, upgraded light pack, 19" alloys. Compared to other cars I've owned, it's not the quickest, or perfect by any stretch, but there is still something about it that makes me think it'll be a keeper for a long time. So I've just changed the engine oil, gearbox oil and brake & clutch fluid, also deleted the CDV, which has made the whole clutch vagueness so much better.
Other mods are 120 watt Afterpartz LED angel eyes, gloss black kidney grills, LCI LED side indicators, and a good polish.
Also ditched the runflats for Kumhos - night and day better. Aersol in the back if things go flat!
Next on the list is a Varta AGM battery replacement and Sat Nav map and iDrive updates, by someone who is very local to me that is abit of a programming god on the E90 forums.
The car looks and drives like new - loving it!

My 30i is a 2010 auto in Space Grey.
At times I do wish I had a manual instead, but it'll do.
There were a couple other Z4 in my area, but have seen neither since our recent floods- a couple less out there possibly.
Getting more rare by the day...

Coming from an S2000 I'm not used to having gadgets
It was on the spec list when I checked the car out online under it's VIN number.
The exterior door handles are illuminated, plus it has door puddle lights etc, although they may all have this. So in essence, although it is part of my cars spec, I couldn't honestly tell you what the sum of it's parts amount to.
I have a whine on my 23i manual, 2009. Its most obvious during slow acceleration in second gear (low revs) and third gear, quieter in third. I am planning on swapping out the box for a new one later this year. Thank god its a manual so I am looking at around £770 rather than thousands for an auto..arl10 said:
