E89 Market watch

Many thanks guys, I appreciate the input. It also has two brand new rear Pirelli Zero tyres on it too that cost me £360. These two tyres transformed the car.

I will put it on for £18k in mid April when I will put an ad in the For Sale section if the people who have PM'd me for first dibs don't want to take it further.

With the sun reappearing this week I'd aim for the higher end.

How did you do the exhaust tips?
Hi mate, Andy at Zaustwork up in Darwin did them for me just before the pandemic broke out.

Thanks, I was hoping you'd found an easy DIY solution

Good luck with the sale, I'm sure it'll sell very quickly.

He doesn't charge much mate - I think it cost about £100 or so. Makes a big difference to the back of the car I think. The stock tips as supplied by BMW are somewhat underwhelming for the flagship Z4 model IMO.

I'll be very sad to sell it because it's such a fab car. But with my bad back from my cycling injury I find it too hard to get into now and need a "normal" car that does not sit quite so low down. Maybe an M4 perhaps.

Many thanks for the pointers chaps, much appreciated. I'll put it on for £18000 ovno - that seems to be the going rate at the start of the season for a 35is.

I wouldn’t see it hanging around long at that ask. The season has already started, we’ve done one run already and no. 2 is fast approaching, so get it out there ASAP GLWTS

No links because I'm lazy, but in the last 24 hours I've seen two E89's listed on the facebook group - a 2009 35i on 100k for £7,500 and a 2011 23i on 40k for £15,500.

:tumbleweed:

You can also pay nearly SEVENTEEN GRAND for a 23i on 44k miles if you have a look on Autotrader.... am I missing something?!

I was bored & looking on Autotrader last night & probably saw the exact same car. Not that I’m looking to sell mine but it’s done less miles, is pretty stacked with goodies & the thought had occurred to me that I might be able to sell it for more than I paid last year.

It does look like it's been on Autotrader for 2 months already, so while you can list a 23i for that sport of money, there's nothing to suggest anyone will actually pay that much. There's even a cheaper one with only 20,000 miles that has been on there for 4 months...

2015 reg 35iS 39,500 miles. White with (shabby in places) red Tucson leather and aluminium fascia. £28,500 on the Sytner Leicester forecourt. £500 less online.

Sytner Leicester

They have a 2015 MSport for £19,500..sold mine way to cheap.. and a 28i (2016) for £24,000

WBAC and Sytner are parallel universes..

Looks like excellent value if anyone is on the hunt for a manual 35i...

Bit lacking in what some may regard as essential goodies..heated seats , PDC ..cruise missing as well…low miles but often that’s a two edge sword,

That's probably why it's a bargain for people like me who aren't bothered about cruise, parking sensors and heated seats.

Each to their own

Best colour, every extra seemingly and very low miles, top price wise but I suppose it’s a case of find another 🤷🏼‍♂️
