Ouch that's pricey for a private sale - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106294419741?include-delivery-option=on&make=BMW&model=Z4&aggregatedTrim=35is&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&postcode=np45xf&page=1

Stunning car, but it is some strong money for a private sale, plus the location may not help!

Yeah, its a nice car with good spec and low miles but that's retail money IMHO.

As I have said before though, start high as you can always lower the price but not east to go up :)

Agree completely, my old manager use to say that, you can always lower the price!

I don’t think I would except that sort of money for mine and it’s a year newer!

Thats the thing, its about what you expect for the car and if you think you can achieve that price, I am sure in a few weeks that will be at £26k or lower as it is not going to get much interest IMHO

Until the time you go to high and annoy the customer

Well as they say the market decides..

I wonder how much of the "I've got to have a 35is " is whipped up by the user groups..certainly it is the way with the Porksters AFAICS..

Always sell at the top of the market and buy at the bottom..

I am certain that plays a part - was happy with my well specced 23i bu now I want a VO 35iS with decent spec but in reality I will not use it or drive it any differently to the 23i

I’ll take it out every now and then and drive it “differently” for you

I agree Ron, you might not expect that sort of money but IMO that’s around where yours would pitched (£28k ish) with a small bit of wriggle room for the inevitable bids that would come.

The white one is overpriced by £3.5k-£4.5k

Hhmmm - let me think about that for a moment, is there a swap involved somewhere plus run flats don't work well the way you drive sir

The swap would work, I don’t mind Miss Daisy driving my G29

I think when I put mine on the market - I would think £27.5K with the BMW Dash Cam and Smarttop ?
A fully speced G29 is about £55k - ask me how I know

Yip, I’d be pitching just under £28k with a figure between there and £27.5k in mind with the additional extras left on

Thats black e89 from Kidwelly with possible roof issues sold for £8,600 so not a bargain at all, someone taking a risk on that at that price :o

Thats it is and I walk it constantly but been ok mostly, had the odd one tell me to never darken their door again :D

I ask client if they have a target price in mind, for me to work on. They often give me several £100's over what i already
have in mind  I get back to them in 10 mins and do the deal

You lucky then, normally I have to fight internal and external to get to a point where everyone is happy :headbang:

Seems a more reasonably priced example ?

For me, I would take the red one, not a fan of the pop out stereo covering half the AC controls, plus the lower miles, guess it depends if you can live with red and the white interior.

Also if you were looking at the blue one why not take this black one with similar mileage but a newer car with electric seats but at the same price as the red one - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202107104863016?make=BMW&include-delivery-option=on&model=Z4&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&advertising-location=at_cars&aggregatedTrim=35is&radius=1500&postcode=np45xf&page=1

Black one is about on the money, the other two overpriced. Blue one has marmite interior and red one stereo confirms previous thoughts, too low and blocks controls as said
