E89 Market watch

Thanks guys,

Ole gits, I wasn't aware there was a 'for sale' thread. That's me telt. :D

Hi mate,

Not telling, more about people looking to buy will go there rather than the e89 market watch thread, you start your own thread rather than the link getting lost in this thread which is always moving on quickly :D

Decent price, basic spec but has heated seats --- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202103250569391?model=Z4&radius=200&make=BMW&sort=relevance&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&include-delivery-option=on&postcode=np45xf&advertising-location=at_cars&page=12

This one did quite well going by recent 23i sales on here:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402803602138
That was mine - I had mentioned it was for sale and also posted a link to the auction but I think it was removed probably due to there being no price. Still think it represented good value for money when you consider the miles, specification and the fact it has just had a new roof panel fitted.

I know - I saw your Ad before it got taken down!

But because of that I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to share that on here.

Excellent value for money at that price, was a good buy initially as well and not surprised it went quickly as it was a good advert and priced low to get the interest started

Behold, the lesser spotted E89 Alpina
Wow! 1 of 1 E89 Alpinas. I don't care how much it is I want it. My bid is £38,000. Cash. Now.

Apparently there is also a fabled 35is X drive lurking on a driveway somewhere that's for sale. Asking price is £1,700,000. Still cheaper than most of Sytner's

It has matching center caps to be fair, and fake air vents on the front bumper sides. Trying to decide whether it's a serious ad or not :D

oh dear, he wants £9k for it as a Cat C, sticking an Alpina badge and some plastic strips on it does not make it special - better cars are selling for less on here. :headbang:

My pet hate is cars described incorrectly to try and trick people into buying something the car is not, here is another one - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274740184163?hash=item3ff7ca8463:g:FIEAAOSwHclgZAgG, this is not an LE (They came in red / white or black), any decent garage knows this.

This also annoys - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202103240521307?model=Z4&radius=200&advertising-location=at_cars&make=BMW&sort=relevance&include-delivery-option=on&postcode=np45xf&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&price-from=7000&page=6 --- not an Msport

I never understand dealers who do that sort of crap in the ad - I want to see the car not all the finance crap

Their ebay name is "accept car finance" :o
At least the financial crash of 2008 has taught the industry many lessons

There is absolutely no information on the car at all. It is all about the finance.

They need a decent name as I would never buy from a garage that has finance in its name - they are going to be on 19.9% APR and try to convince you its a great deal - salesman's name must be Swiss Tony

I don't think they are aiming for the likes of you or I to buy it Sean :?

Well I certainly won't be buying it, my next one is a 35i in VO but may take a few years to get there
Don't take too long. They will be worth more than your house soon

I am hoping things stabilise soon, if they keep going I will buy five now and keep them two years and pay of the bloody mortgage, if they reach the price of my place then RonK is going to be a very happy man :D
