Those back tyres look hell of a big. Profile looks huge and from the rear look like the ones TB wasn’t happy with on his M4 wheels

I am not looking that close - just seeing 35iS and the price and posting the link, wish I could afforded a VO one.

I posted earlier, at these prices I’ll sell mine and I promise it won’t be £25k

Even at £15k right now I would struggle but why sell it, nice looking motor in the rarest colour and spec - appreciating classic if you ask me.

I agree its a cracking looking car and if you have no problems with it keep it.
All you are going to get with the new Z is newer tech with a slightly nicer cabin...... when the roof is down.

As the newbie wanting to get into Zed motoring it’s interesting and frustrating to see the market supply dry up.

There are still plenty of Zeds there on AT over 450, 150 of which are black, but if you are after certain colours and specs then the choice comes down rapidly.

I would agree with the general sentiment that you want to buy with OE still in place if you can, then do your own mods, if you know the issues that it could cause when it comes time to sell.

When I first started casually looking over a year ago there would 5-8 yellow ones at any time...today there is one yellow E85.

Yet the government statistics published this week said headline inflation is down in part due to the reduction in second hand car prices..

Mainly said in jest relating to the escalating/strong prices.

I’m happy to keep mine as it’s a great car.

More just wanting to get out and drive it, which hopefully isn’t too far away now :driving:

Jest could turn into an offer - wish I could afford to make one.

Agreed we all want to get out and drive now, at least in Wales we are free this weekend but have a feeling it will be crazy at the usual tourist sites so may just stay home :D

Give it a few weeks and more options may become available as Spring / Summer will bring out people wanting to sell.

I thought inflation had dropped due to the cost of toys and clothes dropping - it was expected to rise based on fuel costs increasing but dropped.

Good evening all, my first post (with a new user name) for a long time.
The price of this one will make your eyes water:

£30K!!

Childs seat fitting and smokers package should reduce the price in my view. Basic leather interior and £30K!

Lets hope it sells :D

All E89s even my 2009 one has child seat isofix points in the passenger seat, it's standard equipment. Typical overpricing by main dealers which some mug will pay, they are banking on the low miles to achieve that sale price.

They won't get anywhere near that for it - its a minimum of £5k over priced but some plonker will pay it for certain :headbang:

I wouldn't be too sure about that, there are enough mugs out there who will pay a massive premium because they are buying it from 'BMW'. When I was looking for mine Sytners had a 25,0000 miler 30i 2010 or 2011 and they were asking £17500 at the time at that was at least 2500 overpriced. They had it for quite a few months eventually they reduced the price to 16500 and shortly after they sold it. When I enquired about it they wouldn't even knock off £500!

Similarly some years ago when I was trading cars I had a mint 3 to 4 year old E46 328i which I was trying to sell for around £13000, the car just wouldn't sell eventually I got fed up of having the car in stock and decided to offload it. I rang around some BMW dealers and one offered to buy it for around 11k about 500 less then my cost! the car was ready to retail and they had no real prep to do yet they put it up for 17K and about 3 weeks later sold it!

well it takes all sorts but I would do a lot of research and for that money you can buy a lot of cars including a G29

I agree, don't get me wrong i like the e89 and all but for north of 20k these days I'd be looking to get myself into a G29

35iS is going to be special but at £30k then not for me :o

Been a fair amount of discussion recently..well spec’d original cars with low mileage are often preferred by people...buying from ‘BMW’ main dealer makes sense to them, Synters wouldn’t price it there if they did think they could get it.

Many E89s now have mods that make them less desirable to certain groups

If you’ve got the money it’s not an issue..
