He means the interior I think.

Not 100% certain of that he mentions the red leather as well:

BMW Z4 2.0 SDRIVE 20I M SPORT ROADSTER IN STUNNING MELBOURNE RED COMPLETE WITH FULL RED LEATHER and he then mentions Melbourne red at the ned of the ad again.

Moving abroad - not likely right now either?

Mmm, yes on re-reading that does look a bit dodgy. Copy and paste from another ad perhaps? Warning lights glowing brighter :?

Agree that it looks like a copy and paste - every photo in different location as well with some numbers covered other not - looks dodgy to me anyway.

(that was a random Google result for an actual red car )

Edit: that makes no sense for anyone reading who hasn't looked on at the black car on Ebay which reads:

BMW Z4 2.0 SDRIVE 20I M SPORT ROADSTER IN STUNNING MELBOURNE RED COMPLETE WITH FULL RED LEATHER FINISHED WITH ALLOY CUBE INSERTS.5 split spoke alloy wheels, multi function steering wheel, heated seats, electric folding mirrors, aircon, bluetooth, cd/aux/usb. True definition of sweet and salty right there :D

Thats very salty even for a yellow 30i

My 23i Highline M-Sport with a bunch of extras (70K miles) was a good bit more than 6K less than that car - I know where the better deal was - that is probably 3 to 4K overpriced in my opinion.

35iS is worth less than that, and they are holding prices well, probably cos they're quite rare!

Last week my 2013 18i with half the mileage was under £10k; from a stealer too. For the cost of a remap I can get the same performance!

Maybe it's expensive because it was owned by a (presumably blind) "lovely retired gentleman". :D

I would think from what’s been posted here and elsewhere that your 18 re-mapped would be considerably quicker than a 30 manual?

I’m still looking for a 20 or 28 version in yellow, auto with most of what BMW consider to be ‘extras’ , lowish miles...guess that makes a limited search...seems to be more orange versions than yellow? Looks like the yellow ones weren’t popular in the UK?

Strange in the US publications they seemed to be dominated by what they called Citrus Yellow which I assume is the same yellow?

Atacama Yellow was phased out around 2013 I think.
Valencia Orange was a replacement.

The 20i and 28i debuted in 2012, so there will be less 20 and 28s in yellow, as they only had around a year with that colour available.

A more common Atacama Yellow model is anything pre 2012, so 23i, 30i and 35i.

35is is available too.

Thanks for the heads-up...that kind of explains things... ah well maybe it’s an orange one..

Rob thank you..I think I got confused with the inside which I think is called a Citrus Yellow package?

So is a 35is worth hanging onto? .... I’ve gone and made an impulse order on a new car!!! :o So the Zeds daily job gets taken over, meaning I should sell it. But I do like (most of) it and with them being quite rare I’d kick myself in the future if I let it go in haste.
For me It has one weakness chassis and lack of engagement. As a hot hatch fan I’m use to agile and fun on short sprints. The Zed is a GT car for longer cruises, certainly in the last 12 months haven’t been able to do that. Have until June to decide....
