E89 exhaust

Afternoon guys. Just picked up a little Z4 2.0i at the weekend and looking at some options. It’s currently in for an engine/gearbox map and decat but I’m searching for exhaust options without much success. Any pointers please?

I am SOOOOOOO glad you said decat and not a cat delete . . . . this whole 'delete' phrase being used these days boils my pi$$
Let’s see if the decat pipe fits first.......

Also interested in this. Other than super sprint, I am unable to find many options. I am sure the super sprint system is nice, but not £1500 nice. I have contacted all the other main players in the market such as Miltek, Scorpion, Cobra etc, and they no interest in developing anything for the 4 pot Z4’s :-(

This is what I’m finding. Assuming the decat fits I’ll see what it sounds like before going ahead with anything else.

You can fix the exhaust valve open for a slightly more gruff note

What’s involved in that Rob if you don’t mind me asking? I assume there are no detrimental side effects?

The valve is vacuum activated, it’s just a question of removing & capping off the vacuum pipe where it attaches to the r/h tailpipe and also capping off the diaphragm activator.
This leaves the exhaust flap permanently open, it’s not a huge difference, but noticeable & no side effects.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove a fuse to achieve the same result?
