🤔 Surprised I have had no takers, have you all gone soft 😏
I'd have been interested a few weeks ago but bought a few other bits like new tyres a smart top and 6 new speakers to sort the awful base model sound system so am tightening my belt at the moment :(
What's sort of price did you pay for fitting?

Love it zeebuggy....we’ve all gone soft not buying the springs you’re selling that are too hard...... :poke:

Been looking at lowering options myself but mine is M sport so I understand it is already lower according to the info I have read. Edit: Sorry your figures will be lower than M sport by about the value you mention so well worth it if you want to drop the gap even more

Bargain all the same

Not according to the Demon tweeks description.

“ Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering springs drop most cars about 30mm (less on cars already lowered from factory). This mild lowering amount allows Eibach to make big, noticeable improvements to handling with all of the benefits you'd expect from a lowered sports suspension whilst still offering enough suspension travel for OE or near-OE ride quality. It also means this kit just fits straight onto most cars with no other”

During my research from manufacturers and sellers info. Including other forums confirms you deduct the amount an M-Sport is already lowered by (approx 10mm) so that means your net gain is 20mm in that example not the 30mm qoutes. If your fitting to a standard Z4 with OEM settings your gain is up to 30mm.

Either way you win so all good

I also noted ARB and wheel alignment checks are also recommended to make the most of the changes.

slight cautionary tale here..I bought these springs and when they arrived I cross referenced the codes on the springs to see what the drop would be exactly..every single website said they would not fit an e89 23i.

After contacting the seller he was insistent they did and they came off his car which I'm sure they did, my thoughts though is they may well fit but are the optimum for the car..why sell a different kit for the e89 with completely different codes, they seem to have a much heavier max load load weight of 970/1100 fr/rear compared to 800/975 for the e89 kit .

I paid by paypal so I told him i was sending them back but I would cover the postage , he insisted they were fine but over a dozen sites said they wouldn't fit, I agreed that yes they were obviously fitted to your car but shoehorning something in doesn't make it the right part

Anyroad I returned them and he stitched me up on the refund, deducting the paypal fees that you should get on refund and the initial postage to the tune of 16 quid.

Not much but as i paid the return post thats £28 quid in all ..I'm not particularly arsed about the money it's fairly small change but y'know its the principle really of forum etiquette. I'm sure the seller will come on and blah blah blah how they fit fine and they were ok on his car (even though he couldn't wait to remove them) but I wasn't comfortable fitting a part that wasn't listed as right for my car.. I won't get into a slanging match on here if he comes on but just wanted to say this as a word of warning about buying from unknown members

I would start a Paypal dispute...speak to them on the phone, theyre really helpful, they will refund the fees for you and persue him
Thats a bit nawty....

My only reply is that I have contacted eibach twice and given them the replacement code number and they assured me that they were for my z4 23i, what can I say against that.
Do I call eibach liars.

I contacted eibach twice and gave them the codes on the coils and they assured me there were for my car z4 23i why would they lie to me. The code you have on your info has 2 digits wrong way round Steve, close but not correct. I sent you a pic with correct codes and it listed z4 and many others but I don't think e46 was there. I, m sure a new set will. Also list others too.

Jesus how many times do i need to say it..ITS NOT THE RIGHT KIT FOR THE CAR!! just because you can fit them in doesn't mean its right for the car, I can get my foot in a size 10 shoe but it doesn't mean it fits properly!!! They make a pro kit for the e89.. its not this one you sent me..end of story

You agreed that there would be no issue with a refund and I agreed I would recover return postage.. I honoured my part of a gentlemans agreement and you did not. You don't get to keep the paypal fees i covered on a refund either

Thats fine ..you want to be a chancer for the sake of 16 quid you fill your boots, hopefully nobody on the forum is foolish enough to buy anything from you in future
