They are only about 10" x 5", but still hold more than the glovebox or door pockets.z4too4 said:Ahh they look really small ... are they screwed in then?
I haven't looked recently as it's not in the car, but as it's a powder extinguisher you can check that it's still operable by making sure the powder hasn't caked inside by tilting it top to bottom and listening for the powder whooshing from top to bottom.z4too4 said:Nice that you haven't had to use the fire extinguisher, but is there a use by date on extinguishers?
z4too4 said:Yep I hear you but it's a pity they didn't use a proper slot and pin hinge. The hinge fatigue/stress is clearly visible on the one I have bought.
I may try to fabricate a replacement non moveable lip instead, about 3-4cm high for easy access and stop things rolling out.
Storage for bits and bobs in the Z4C is very minimalist. The glove compartment can take one glove. In the door pockets I have one small cloth for window wiping. The compartments behind the seats are more useful now that I have fitted seats from an M3 with tilt function.Djcla said:Slight rant
But has anyone managed to actually get anything into their door pockets as for me access is so bad they are completely pointless. Dont get me started on the ones behind the seats
