E85 Roof and other Issues

I am not sure if any scanners like autel can do transport delete but others will know

BMW scanner 1.4 will do it and you can buy this cheaply from Amazon but will need a dcan cable to connect the pc you load it onto

Same applies for ista and DIS

Scanner 1.4 comes with cable. About £20 on eBay and simple to install on a laptop
 
you need a BMW scanner, not regular OBD reader, also have your E85 done the roof motor relocation? If not, do it. My motor was bath in water but after cleaning and some spining it work again.
 
Well well well, happy Xmas and a merry new year.

The Foxwell NT 510 (BMW) version, direct from Foxwell arrived today. It was immediately plugged in and went straight to delete transportation mode.

2 mins later . . . . .

Heater fan working
Rear de-mister working
Air con working

And finally, the roof works.

What an absolute result, once you have the right bit of kit.

It found a Vanos motor error, but I’m sure that’s an easy fix.
