Hi All,

I am looking for the Isofix attachment for the passenger seat. Or if you have a full seat with the integration I would also be interested.

I have an 18 month old who is obsessed with the car and would like to take him out with me/to shows etc. I have a solution for the airbag deactivation but need the metal anchor frame for the seat!

Really hope someone has one!

Cheers

I am breaking a car with isofix so I could provide you with everything if wanted?

I have another seat with an isofix bracket. We'll leave yours on the seat

You need the original key for the lock. My key for my Zed will turn it if I half insert the key and turn. Apparently it's possible to open up the lock and remove the pins so any key can be used.

Wiring ready and labeled:

From the airbag indicator light the violet/white wires goes to the fuse box connector X11007 and is pin 11:

The grey wire from the indicator light goes to X16705 at the airbag control module, pin 7

The the blue and white goes from the key switch to the airbag control module connector X16708. White is pin 7 and blue is pin 17:

Hi all, same topic for me as well. The above images are absolutely fantastic, I will check if the wiring is already pre-installed in my 2006. In case someone has any of the above please contact me. Thank you

Hi.
I thought I'd investigate and can confirm that the pins can be removed.
Using a small screwdriver, remove the 2 screws.
The black cover just slider off.
Then the circuit board with 2 pins slides off.
Then the white inner plastics slide out, there's 2 parts but the go together.
Then you can see inside, either side of where the key goes, are 2 tiny plastic retainers. Carefully apply pressure to push the barrel out while fractionally moving one pin, then the other.
Then, you'll have the barrel out.
Use pliers to grip the 4 metal pins and pull them out also with a tiny spring.

Reassembly is the opposite of disassembly.
Now any key will work.

As far as I'm aware if it's front facing and the seat is far enough back the air bag doesn't need to be disabled? I take my little boy out in my coupe, with a belt securing car seat.

I checked as I would like to do the same (my son is almost 4 and around 105cm), but I read online that the airbag activation is very 'aggressive' which means that leaves very little room when deployed. I am more worries about the feet, as they wont be bent as an adult's and hey protrude from the seat.

Hi again, I have all the components for the retrofit except the wiring, which I believe can be built. Does anyone have to recommend a garage that can do that or have done it in the past? I am located in Scotland but willing to travel for the right place.
Thank you
