May aswell get involved been around bimmerforums many years with my E46's I've now got a Z4 so thought I'd start a dairy.
Great looking car, but how are the cows getting on? :D

Hi and welcome,I recognise your user name from bimmerforums seems we made the very same transition .
I frequented the other forum when I had the e46 330ci vert topaz blue(different user name on there).
Now got a e85 3.0 in maldives blue, you will find this forum a lot more in depth as it does not cover many models.
There is very little zed action on the other forum.
You will be pleased you joined for the wealth of knowledge and friendly banter on here ,some great people willing to help in many ways.
Nice looking roadster by the way

Nice weather this weekend so I popped down to Shakespeare raceway again in Stratford to see if I could better my 14.7s 1/4 mile time.

Managed 3 or more runs of 14.2s still room for improvement

When I was at Curborough last you did get a mention by marshalls who run the event.

Yes I seen some pics of your interior and did think that last week. I heard about stormwerks gearknobs so thought it may have been similar but is slighlty different I like mine ive got shifts nicely.

When I was at Curborough last you did get a mention by marshalls who run the event. I remembered your name as I'd heard the owner of another grey Z4 I viewed from off here with modded front splitter you may remember it.[/quote]

Yeah it ,makes a difference to the shift feel.

I must get back there soon. If you do a lot of track and 1/4 stuff? And your keeping the car? Get a LSD fitted.

I just remembered the guy was a fellow member here who owned a Z4M who mentioned you. He said you normally come down for track days. He now has the Z4 35is he said he'd never think about taking that around You may remember him?. He was saying the LSD makes a massive difference. Id probably just sell the Z4 and get a E46 M3 that already has LSD. Z4 is a great car but I cant see myself owning it longer than 1 year really.

I only really got the z4 because I loved my convertible e46 330ci before TBH

Took the Z4 on its first official long trip in and around some great roads in Wales. Few shots from Evo triangle this weekend nice driving the one part is like a roller coaster coming back down highly recommended.

Tried some of that fake carbon vinyl wrap few air bubbles and bits to re trim but really happy how it turned out as the part by handbrake was badly scratched and needed covering. Think I might look into having the parts properly hydro dipped in carbon skin for perfect trim finish should look brilliant
