Mine is a pre FL car so hopefully should 'just work', but good to know.
Seeing as the '03 and '04 cars basically are prewired for most options (or so I understand), can't imagine it being a big issue.
Will report back when it's here and hopefully fitted!

I retrofitted to an 05 car and although the map lights didn’t work the other main light did
I find that a little odd tbh? Not doubting you, just that when you look at the back of the light it 'appears' to be a simple supply ring to them all, with on/off switches.

Late reply, but got it fitted in the car. Connector is the exact same, and the hardware fit right in. Not that I expected it not to.
That being said, I also only have the main light work, the maps lights do nothing. Will pull it out again soonish and investigate, as I think I can simply rewire the thing so that the map light switches work on the same circuit as the main light.
But interesting none the less that they don't work...

OK, here's a random thought. Maybe they only work when the ignition is on? So a passenger can navigate while you drive?

Yeah tried that, no dice sadly. Shouldn't be too hard to modify and loop it in to main light's circuit.

Do you still have the hedgehog resistor? I'll take it if you do!
If he hasn't then I have one, but be polite and let [ref]bigwinn[/ref] reply to you first, as per forum decorum.

Nice one - just bought the one from bigwinn, but appreciate the offer and respect of the protocol.

No prob. As long as you're sorted.
Mine was probably more expensive anyway.
