Still got the vanos on (if anyone wants a spare like I use)

Left the cats on as the scrappers only care about that

Yeah, the light(s) above the interior rear view mirror. I seem to have a weird unit there with only one light...

Just so you know, I've done that swap and it is a simple plug and play, nothing else needed.

That wasnt the case for me unfortunately, my facelift zed didn't like the map lighted interior light, none of them worked.

Yeah I think with the pre FL, they put a lot more wiring in

Interestingly though, I was led to believe that only applied to the earlier ones up to nearly the end of 2003?
The one I did was an 04-plate. Though I'm not sure of it's build date.

Mine is a pre FL car so hopefully should 'just work', but good to know.
Seeing as the '03 and '04 cars basically are prewired for most options (or so I understand), can't imagine it being a big issue.
Will report back when it's here and hopefully fitted!

I retrofitted to an 05 car and although the map lights didn’t work the other main light did
