Yes, he went for the full inspection and thankfully got the full bill of health!hopz121 said:Saw this car at BMS last week, very clean underneath apparently!

Your next car Inkey$?
If you want to worry, you can find horror stories about pretty much any 'S' engine. More to do with how some are 'used' and abused than the engineering IMO.bigwinn said:I still worry about that engine. I’d love one but the rod bearings and all that jazz put me off… am I being stupid?

I'm very similar to this as well. I've driven a E36 3.0 a few times and I loved it(been a passenger in two different E36 3.2 evos also), whereas when I had a go in an E46 M3 I thought it was a bit too heavy and a bit gutless to drive. I did have the Cerbera at the time so I guess that I was comparing it to that because that was what I was used too.Pondrew said:I love the E46 M3. Yet I wouldn't give two beans for any other E46. Still like the E36 'evo' better!

This is so me Paul! I'd absolutely love that with all those garages for sure! 8)pvr said:C2C8C349-2E82-42A8-A5FE-29B12E7BAFEB.jpeg

They did used to be really good value once upon a time as you say. My BIL absolutely loved the one he had. He swapped that for an E93 M3 Convertible that he had for 11 years, and he's just swapped the M3 for a 2016 911 Carrera S Convertible(the 3.0 twin turbo model).paddy wright said:Just wish I’d bought one when they were peanuts!

Unless it is your wife's brother, than the same applies![]()
