E46 M3 Heated / Electric Seats

Hi,

I am selling a pair of E46 M3 heated front seats finished in Napa black leather with the //M logo imprinted on the headrests. They are fully electric and both seats have the added bonus of inflatable side bolsters and lumber support which make them a nice upgrade on the standard SE seats.

They are in very good condition with no rips or tears and only slight wear to the drivers bolster. But nothing more than should be expected.

When I fitted these into my Zed I swapped over the seat base rails and pre-tensioner to retain the original seat belt fixings from the Zed. Both sets of rails are interchangeable and a straightforward task to complete. I also used the passenger occupancy sensor from my original SE passenger seat. (Please note these seats are not supplied with the pre-tensioners or occupancy sensor).

I have already swapped over the drivers long tilt handle with a shorter one and also fitted aftermarket seat belt holders to the headrest (see photos), which I imported from the USA.

Due to the weight of these items I am looking at collection from Benfleet, Essex although I could arrange to meet somewhere within reason.

Looking for £350

Thank you for reading,

Dave

Hi Davros
You dont by any chance have a link to the imported seat belt headrest holders do you. Could do with a set for mine

Hi Leesfarm07,
The part numbers are 10386174 & 10385983. I got mine from GM parts direct, but I’ve since seen them advertised on eBay. It would be worth checking to see which one offers the best postage rates.
They totally transformed the seats once fitted and imo are better than the seat belt holders on the standard Z4 seats.
Cheers
Dave

I'm also interested in these. Iv seen them on eBay but I was wondering did you have to drill additional holes in them to get them to fit?

Thanks, Kyle

Hi I got these from Ebay they are great but you need to fit a rubber bung in seat pole hole to stop them moving as the hole is to large for pole they look great fitted and they work well Screenshot_20190606-103755_eBay.jpgI was after the ones Davos has but were to expensive with postage

Hi Kyle,

Yep, I had to drill new holes to accommodate the M3 headrest bars. The headrest holders are made of strong plastic so it was fairly straightforward to do. I think these are popular with the BMW Mini owners.

The ones bz4kev bought also look like a good solution, but I never saw those when I was looking.

Cheers,

Dave

Have you got a photo of how these look installed?

Are the first ones the BMW ones? Was looking at them. They don't work then?

I've got a set of the 1st ones in bz4kev's photos. They are BMW ones for the mini range I think and they are as much use as a chocolate fire card. They're hinged in the middle and keep separating in 2 halves. They really aren't fit for purpose.
