The part numbers are 10386174 & 10385983. I got mine from GM parts direct, but I’ve since seen them advertised on eBay. It would be worth checking to see which one offers the best postage rates.
They totally transformed the seats once fitted and imo are better than the seat belt holders on the standard Z4 seats.

Hi David,
It sounds like you had the same ones me and bz4kev used to have. If the seat belt didn’t slip out then the middle joint would unclip. They were a right pain
The ones Ive now fitted from GM are a 1000 times better and are as near as OEM as you can get imo
The ones bz4kev has since fitted also look good. They are both good solutions me thinks.

Was £47 for both - I like the look - just have to wait however many weeks for them now :roll:

Did any of you guys have to swap the seat belt buckle part on the chair over? I have found its a bit different compared to the original Z4 one

Hi CrazyBaptie, when I fitted mine I swapped over the 2 base rails from the seats to retain the Z4 seat belt fastenings. I also used the seat belt occupancy sensor from the original Z4 seats.

Which part is the occupancy sensor? The red but the belt clips into?

The sensor is located at the rear base of the passenger seat. I’m not sure if the E46 sensor works and might cause an air bag warning light.

Did you disconnect the battery and wait 30 minutes before unplugging the seat power connector? That can also cause an airbag warning light if you don’t disconnect power 1st. Hope you get it sorted mate.

Yeah I left it, I tried to swap the sensor over but the blue plug on it is different on both?! The one on the M3 was also plugged into a blank did you have this?

Hi mate, there should be 2 cables going into the sensor. 1 wire from the sensor mat coming from the rear of the seat and the other cable going into the main yellow connector plug.
You will need to remove the M3 sensor AND the cable & connector going into the main yellow power plug beneath the seat and replace them with the Z4 one. To remove this cable you will need to slide back the black part of the main yellow plug and the occupancy sensor connector should then slide out. The z4 one should then slide in. (The occupancy sensor connector which fits inside the big yellow plug should be the same shape for the M3 & Z4).
You will then need to unplug the occupancy mat wire coming from the rear of the seat from the sensor and plug in the Z4 one.
To remove the actual sensor, you will need to twist it 1/4 or 1/2 turn and then pull it from the seat base.
I hope this makes sense. It’s quite difficult to explain.
(I’ve attached a picture of the yellow plug with the black top slid open, ready for the connectors to be pulled out)
