With pre season test 1 complete, and a trackday at Donington this weekend a week before the opening race weekend on the 22&23 also at donington, I thought I would go over some changes that I've made to the car in the off season
Winter changes:
New engine & gearbox with 103,000 less miles on it
BBTB (already got M50 manifold)
New induction system with heat sheild
removed all the engine bay heat & sound padding and replaced it with reflective tape
reflective taped inlet manifold intuction pipe and heat sheild, removed crank case breather to oil catch tank then to atmosphere. So should get the coldest cleanest air possible.
lightweight main drive pulley
oil rad (cooked my oil at Croft last year 130 deg C in the sump!)
4 wheel alighment done
and a short shift gear leaver
looped coolant to excluded heater matrix, because that'll be removed soon.
