Dumfries and Galloway Weekend October 9th/10th 2021

The October run to Dumfries and Galloway will start at 09:00 on Saturday 9th October at the Premier Inn, Dumfries and finish there at 17:00 ish

The Sunday run will start from the same Premier Inn at 09:00 and finish at Moffat (Esso Garage and Car Park / Toilets) at around 16:00

Expressions of interest welcome, any previous expressions of interest please confirm.

The gate will close 7 days before to confirm logistics etc.

Hello all, only fair to give advance warning: only 12 cars per day allowed

We have taken the decision to cap this weekend at a maximum of 12 cars per day.

This is due to catering logistics plus the practicalities of moving larger groups around the narrow lanes.

Normally a number of people tend to drop out, especially those attending for a day and/or not staying in local accommodation.

So those who have said they are definitely coming are included on the attendees list and the possible / interested on the possible list.

If we do hit the 12 definite limit then we will have the standby list to call from.

We'd hoped to make a few more runs this year but other stuff has gotten in the way. We can make the journey up during Saturday stop over the Saturday night and do the Sunday run?

Would that be possible? As you're limiting numbers we wouldn't want to throw a spanner in the works for anyone wanting to do both days.

Hi Dave, priority is being given to people staying overnight whether doing one day or two, several people are only doing one so if that’s what you want to do that’s fine. Rich 5) is only doing the Saturday so you can have his equivalent Sunday slot :thumbsup:
